David McCue, Chairman and Founder
Among his many interests David, is an enthusiastic choral singer. So perhaps it’s no surprise that a guy with a great voice, would one day show a knack for creating a line of bumpers that hit all the high notes.
David founded McCue Corporation in 1988 with the goal of bringing innovative equipment and services to the retail industry.
His philosophy? Disarmingly simple: To create a company that “Is a joy to work for. And a pleasure to buy from.”
A lover of great designers, from Guy Kawasaki to James Dyson, David took a good long look at what stores were doing to prevent wear and tear. He then created an entirely new set of solutions, based on thoughtful designs and an obsessive attention to detail.
The result? A line of products that both looked great and did what they were supposed to do.
Today, he holds several U.S. and international patents for products he has created, and McCue Corporation is the retail industry's recognised leader in protective and decorative bumper and trolley management systems – twice having been listed in the INC 500 ranking of fast-growing privately held companies. Which, in the end, just might have you singing his praises as well.

Growing up on a farm, Robert learned two very important lessons early in life. One was how to milk cows and rear calves. The next was the importance of sustainability. And while we at McCue have benefited from his animal husbandry and sausage making skills, it’s our products and customers that have benefited from his environmentally conscious techniques.
With an Engineering Bachelors degree and a Masters in Polymer Science, Robert has been building innovative solutions for McCue since he joined in 2003. He continues to be passionate about keeping retail stores beautiful while improving products sustainability and reducing the impact on the environment.
And that means greener pastures for everyone involved.
